Plato - regarded as the faster of Philisophy by many - suggested we don't see reality, but rather what is considered shadows of true reality, and we only see the true world, a place of perfection and majesty, through death. He suggests that the world we see is filled with shadows and imperfections, and we search for perfection til death.

 World of Warcraft, which for many, can become a reality, is large part of many peoples lives, especially those who raid. I hate those who label people who raid having an addiction, however, I don't eliminate the fact that people do have an addiction to the game, but why?

In the game, their is limits, there is a level where you cannot go beyond. Once achieving complete perfection of your character through your chosen path, you can do no more. Do people have an addiction of the game itself, or the offer of perfection that it others? Plato suggests in his theorems that once you've found perfection, you must be dead, completed. For example, once you obtain all the gear you can, max everything you can, you too are completed - the game offers closure of perfection.

Obviously, one may say this all on a materialistic level. But we all live in a capitalistic world, so materialism is a core factor of reality. Self-fulfillment is also a factor, but when those have an addiction to the game, their self-fulfillment is achieved through World of Warcraft, thus negating outside influence. Although this all on a theoretical basis, when applied logically to the behaviours exercised by people, it isn't as irrational as it may seem.

Okay, so on Jellybabies (My Warlock), and we killed Teron Gorefiend for the first time tonight, (about 50 attempts all up... l2click three buttons rite!?). So we had cleared 4/5 Mount Hyjal earlier this week, Aneth, Kaz + Az all first time kills, it's been a good week, so we finish up doing Teron drops and head to Archimonde.

We get to Archimonde, first thing, start practicising Tears of the Goddess. Clearly, as the expert I am, I die on the first attempt, all of them well-knowing I have a Priest I've done Archimonde on, the humiliation was well displayed.

So, I seeked revenged. We gathered up to get the rundown of the strat, in the little alcove below Tyrande. Some of the Priests/Druids do their hour-long buffs, I whip out an eye of kilrogg.

We're all standing there, I send him in towards Archimonde (Stealthily of course, beneath the branches), and engage Archimonde. He pelts it then starts to head for one of the Priests who had buffed me (thus gaining aggro), he fingers us all for 99,999 and the raid lies peacefully shocked.

They found it hilariously, but did not discover the perpretator. Which is a good things, cause a similar thing happened in SSC when I aggro'd Hydross and he teleported us all too him. Suffice to say, the night was filled with wipes in the High 90's and repair bills in the low 30's.

It's interesting too compare how strong our melee tends to be on top for Teron Gorefiend - but apparently the melee here suck(fail sound).

By the way, if any Rogues notice anything that I can point out to them that would be sweet, aswell if any tanks could look at Attempt #14 and the ones before that, see if he had his Shield Block up - he died randomly from Crushings throughout attempts toward the end.
