Usefull Tree Macros
Ardea — Fri, 05/09/2008 - 18:06
This is a small list of Macros I use in conjunction with Grid. I am not even close to a macro expert so if you know any other useful macros or better ways than I have listed feel free to post them... you will notice that the macros are almost identical.
I love mouse over casting with Grid because that way I do not have to stop and select a target to cast. I can continually cast. Normally I keep the boss targetted so I can watch who he is targeting... and throw up a random insect swam.
Note: There are two ways to use an item's special ability in a macro.
1. To type out the inventory slot ID. ex: /use 13 (this will "use" or activate the ability of your first trinket. See below for a list of Slot IDs).
2. To type out the name of the item. /use Ribbon of Sacrifice (I perfer this method because then it will not matter what slot the item is in... handy if you swap your gear around... The downside is if you replace the item you then need to change your macro).
0 = ammo
1 = head
2 = neck
3 = shoulder
4 = shirt
5 = chest
6 = belt
7 = legs
8 = feet
9 = wrist
10 = gloves
11 = finger 1
12 = finger 2
13 = trinket 1
14 = trinket 2
15 = back
16 = main hand
17 = off hand
18 = ranged
19 = tabard
Lifbloom: My most used spell... I am spamming this on any square that gets a red dot in the top lefthand corner as well as keeping full stacks (LBx3) on the tanks.
/use Lower City Prayerbook
/cast [target=mouseover] lifebloom
Regrowth: My second favorite spell... I think I use this too much but there is something satisfying about seeing a big (3-4k) heal then smaller ticks.
/use Ribbon of Sacrifice
/cast [target=mouseover] regrowth
OK, so I said...

OK, so I said three level 70s are enough...
Well I found something today that made me at least temporarily gitty to try out.

Blog: Adventures in dual boxing... eh, sounds fun and I want to see what I can do.
A little history:
Some friends got me into playing World of Warcraft about 3 months before BC came out and refused to tell me what server they played on until they were sure I wasn’t a n00b (their guild had Naxx and AQ40 on DE farm)… they have yet to receive confirmation, but after a bit they told me that they were on Gorgonnash. So I abandoned my hunter at level 25 and created Lepp (stands for Leper… no, I had never seen the leper gnomes in game before Lepp hit 12). Before Lepp hit 60 and able to raid with my friends they transferred all of their characters to a PvE server. Since I hate the idea of not being able to remove my character to any server I want I stayed on Gorgonnash.
To be able to play with my friends I decided to level another character on their new server. Then I thought since I was leveling one character why not use Spek’s account and level two (one for the both of us).
I choose two Druids since I had already leveled Ardea to level 29 (PvP twink) and that would give us a wide range of possible combinations while having the same spells and leveling combat mechanics. For the record Spek thinks I have horrible taste in female Night Elves so I made her select the Elvin features.

Ever get tired of the Alt vs. Main in a raid discussion?
Summary:
- It is the sole discretion of the raid leader
