I rerolled prot last night with like 90% Avoidance to test out the new prot spec, my gear, etc, etc.

No, I'm not at the 490 so the bosses could still crit (459).

I ran into a very serious problem though.  I wasn't really getting hit, but it appeared sanctuary wasn't giving me the mana back that it should have.  Was this because the single-target mobs were only hitting 'oh-so-often'?

After trying the first set of six with Cons only in my first rotation of threat-gen, then holding it I was still always nearly OOM at the end of the fight.

So with the next six, I attempted dropping Consecration completely and focusing on blowing my CDs on the rest of my spells as soon as they came up.  Not nearly as bad as the first six, but still having mana issues.  I was OOM by the time the boss spawned and told the party to just wait.

On the final six, I stopped using Holy Shield.  Completely.  BoS appeared to grant more, and even with the occacionaly crit from the final boss, I still never dropped below about 6k (half-life) from the Priest's healing.  Since I was being healed, I was at nearly full mana the entire time.  I used Cons at a constant and started wielding Martyr as opposed to Vengeance and/or Wisdom.

I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced similar issues with being 'to geared' since this latest patch.  Due to the massive dodge/def rating I had for a relatively low-gear requirement instance, I wasn't taking the damage I needed to get the healz I needed for mana (thus threat-gen).  Yet when I stopped using Holy Shield (our bread/butter), my threat-gen and mana availability were maxed.

The sites finally up on wowwiki.  Here's a few useful things of note:

•  Miners now receive the passive ability Toughness which adds HP based off of the skill level.
• Skinners now receive the passive ability Master of Anatomy which increases critical strike based off of the skill level.

The Auberdine boat that used to go to Menethil Harbor now goes to Stormwind Harbor.  (THANK GOD)

• The amount of experience required to level between 60 and 70 has been reduced.

I hadn't seen alot of these before.  Good to know.  :p

Shihli made a good point in his request for 16 slot bags.   I have a few piles of Netherweave bolts (like ten) and a few piles of Arcane Dust just lying around inside my bank.

The mats ask for two [Netherweb Spider Silk] which can be picked up anytime your in Black Morass, or from the AH.  Send me three of them and a [Greater Planar Essence], and I'll send you back a [Imbued Netherweave Bag] which is 18-slot.   And yes, I won't lie, I'm asking for the third to make my own bags w/out having to find the Netherweb Spider's Silk.  I'm Lazy.  Sue me.

When you count Bank Slot's, I'm planning on making 4 bags for Pedran, and 6 bags for his Bank. This equated to roughly 720 Netherweave Cloth, 20 Arcane Dust, 10 Greater Planar Essence, and 20 Netherweb Spider Silk.

Total Mats are as Follows(in case you care):

• [Bolt of Imbued Netherweave] x4 (Total Netherweave Cloth = 72)
  • [Arcane Dust] x2
  • [Bolt of Netherweave] x3

On the flip-side, if you don't have the [Greater Planar Essence], I can just make you a 16-slot [Netherweave Bag] instead.  I have all the bolts I need (I think, depends on what orders I get), but I would still ask for one Netherweb Spider's Silk.  :D

Looking to make my [Spellstrike Hood] and [Spellstrike Pants].

Anyone have cooldowns on their [Primal Might] and their [Spellcloth] they are willing to let me use?

I only need 6 Spellcloth and 5 Primal might for the hood, and 10 spellcloth/5 primal might for the pants.

Well, Lepp is going to cover me for the Spellcloth for one of the two pieces, but I've run out of monies for the other piece.  I'll re-request the spellcloth here soon when I have some more primals, but I'm going to try and keep running up 1 of each primal to mail off for transmute each day for the next five days or so.  We'll see how that goes......

I'm also going to try and start working on the primals for my next piece in the mean-time.  [item]Pattern: Belt of Blasting[/item]

I know it's not exactly the most staggering number, but I have a little pride in it.

Three years ago today at approximately 4:30p.m. I was:

• Standing next to Carno and a few of my friends fidgeting
• Smiling from ear to ear
• Listening to my father read from a Bible

After three surprisingly fast years my wife and I will be going out tonight to celebrate our Marriage back in 2005.

I know it's not the longest time for alot of people, but well.....    Considering my longest relationship before my wife was just at a year (and half spent trying to dump the girl), I can honestly say I made the right choice.  :D
