Rupta's Plans for Wrath

Hello all, your favorite (or not so favorite) moonkin here!
I'm intending to PvE as a moonkin like planned, but I was putting serious considering into PvPing as a feral druid.
"Ok, so what's your problem? Just PvP as a feral druid and PvE as a moonkin sounds good." In both situations the gear I'll be collecting will be, mostly, temporary. The progression of the raid depends on everyone doing their best , the same as the progression of the arena team. Me alone being more geared probably won't make or break our progression but you take 15 of the raiders that didn't get honor blues/epics and you may have a serious issue... Annnd.... same goes for arenas... can't run/healer dps if your healer has 7k hp and expect to get very far.
So I'm a little torn. It was easier for me when I went boomkin, because I already had all the gear I needed for pvp, I spent some points on some gear that would be very hard to replace (IE a helm) and it helped me in the beginning. Helm would of lasted me all the way until Kiljaden if I didn't snag A T6 one.. and it's pretty on par with T5.
To be blunt, to do very well in season 5 you'll probably need to get into a highly progressed 25 man and be specced the way your raid job is. Things like weapons, trinkets/off pieces are all going to be better than anything a pvper could acquire in preperation for season 5. So while I level I'll probably decide to just pvp as moonkin. But I thought maybe some others that are in similiar shoes could give me their opinion/decision ;p.
Not everyone may be pvping as a different spec, but may want to get the PvP gear with their badges of valor/etc...
Rupt's life to change soon.

Hello all,
Things are going to change around my house a pretty substantially after this weekend.
I have been working for my Grandfather, "studying" his trading he does. A short explanation is, for dummies, we watch a chart that reflects data about the Market, and attempt to predict which way the market is going to go. If we're right, we make money, if we're wrong, we lose money. It's pretty simple "basics" but I'm going to be learning more and more about. He has been gone to Florida, to help teach the "basics" to a cousin of mine, but it's been realized that he isn't cut out for it, so he's finally coming home. He left me at home with an account, with just enough money in it to do the "simulated" or "paper" trading. It means I make the same calls I would make, but with no gains or losses attached.
Over the course of his trip I've made over 4 thousand dollars, which isn't an amazingly large amount, (remember, this is "paper" trading, so I don't ACTUALLY make the money, but if I had 2 grand to put down, as a buffer, I'd of made that 4 grand.) He's never been successful at this, his problem is that he can't keep his eyes and mind on the market, when he is actually in a trade. I admit I am in Mirc sometimes, or afk in IF, or even take breaks to do dailies etc, just because I feel like it. But I never EVER FORGET I'm in a trade, where money is at risk.
The Great Boomkin Experiment

I've been allowed to Boomkin it up in alot of instances recently, and I've been looking over parses and trying different rotations. I'm really interested in seeing what a Boomkin can do, and I'm sure some people in guild are interested in said subject as well.
I'm making this blog to post some personal dps record I have made as Boomkin in the 25 man's. With a date of the lowest dps record, and a date of the highest dps record. Just so I can see my progression as I gather Zul'aman and other pieces of gear.
If anyone is curious as to what a Boomkin really brings to raid besides their own personal dps, they bring the fire.
Improved Fairie Fire: +3% Hit for all physical damage. This includes tanks, hunters, even hunters pets. Anything that does physical damage will make use of this.
Insect Swarm: -2% Hit for the boss, it stacks with the hunter's hit reduction debuff as well. Basically, 2% avoidance.
Moonkin Aura: 5% Spell crit for everyone in the Boomkins group. This can be useful for healers AND dps. How this benefits the raid can be pretty complicated to explain, but with the raid we have in hamfist, it can help our dps and healers, that aren't even in the Boomkins group, at the same time. (Example, a shadow priest mindflaying while a shadowbolt debuff is up, and regenning that groups mana.)
Some people scoff at Boomkins, and some praise them. I'm attempting to see, if they're worth a raid spot, in the best way I can. Taking the wheels of a Boomkin in raids, and optimizing him to the best of my abilities, to see just how well it scales.
Ultimate Mage Raiding Spec

This is by far the highest dps mage spec possible!
If your not speccing this spec your obviously gimping the raid! Having pom pyro and icey veins is a must to a successful raiding mage!
I hope to see all of our mages make this change in the near future.
