Back to ssc this weekend. Main goals for bosses are Fathomlord and Vashj.
RULES:
Calls are for main toons only. Period. NO calls for alts at any time. Calls go to main raiders for main spec first. After that they go to non-main raiders for main spec first. Items not called for main spec will then be rolled for main spec use first.
Once all items have been distributed to main specs, calls for offspec items may then be made. When making an offspec call you must note that it is an offspec call in your post.
Items that have no calls will be rolled to main spec first then to off spec. Alts may only win items no mains need/want no matter the alt's spec.
Alts will only be allowed into the raid at the discretion of the raid leader for composition and balance purposes and where no main is available to fill the spot.
All characters, be it alt or main, MUST come as main spec unless the offspec is needed to make the run happen.
Once invites start, calls are closed. PERIOD. Put your calls in even if you are unsure if you will make it in case the run spills over into sunday. Calls do not reopen for a sunday cleanup.

MALT 25 MAN RAID TIME - 4:00 SERVER EVERY SUNDAY.
There are very few "rules" associated with the mALT runs, but there are a few guidelines:
1. All gear is ROLLED by classes that want it, no matter if you are an Alt or a main.
2. [Dragonspine Trophy] is the exception to this rule. This item will ALWAYS go to a MAIN RAIDER first. This means your are a dependable member of Hamfist or LF1M. Once those people have acquired their DST it will go to roll for mains vs. alts just like everything else.
3. There is no stipulation of rolling for gear that is within your spec. If you have T4 Shoulders, and want the T4 shoulder token for PvP gear, you have the right to roll against someone who may not have gotten their T4 token yet. (not everyone has alts...but everyone has respec options) And if you are a healing priest and want dps gear, roll on it. The spirit of
mALT is to get gear not just for our alts, but get off spec gear that you may not be able to acquire in your normal raid.
4. I will STOP doing these events the minute I begin to get QQs
about who gets invites and who does not get invites. I've seen an
increasing number of people unhappy cause they didn't get in, or cause
they come every week and one week they don't get a spot. I do this for FUN...I do this for YOU.
5. I'm not inviting toons in blues and greens anymore. Go to Kara...get your gear, get your badge gear, THEN sign up for mALT 25 mans. Just cause it's mAlt, doesn't mean we LIKE repair bills. Kills should be quick and easy, and quick and easy just doesn't come with ppl in greens. I'm not an asshole...if you have a blue or 3 left...I can look past that..but seriously folks...no greens.

I thought I'd start a little Kara for people new to 70 or for alts. I wanted to see how many people are interested.
We're in Tk this week. We also have new loot rules going into effect this week. I feel we have accomplished alot of what we set out to. These new loot rules will put allt and offspec at a lil higher of a priority. Those on alts last week in SSC really showed me that this can and will work to our benefit. Looking forward to some more good runs.

I've had this quest in my quest log for like ... two years now. I would like to finish it.
I'm seeking ~7-9 people to help me achieve this goal. It's part of the old-assed "Opening the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj" world event that occurred about two and a half years ago or so. After this quest, there is another world event that I must do (protect Moonglade from a possessed Eranikus while Tyrande Whisperwind runs to protect us, and cleanse Eranikus' soul) - once these events are done, I will have completed [The Scepter of the Shifting Sands], and gotten some shitty lv. 60 epics for my troubles.
I'm a quest fiend.

So I am on this awesome quest line ... I have FINALLY obtained all of the Fragments of the Nightmare's Corruption that I need, so I can turn that quest in. The follow-up is what is linked below. I would need a strong raid group to help defend Moonglade from Eranikus. I would go over all of the details once we are all there.
After completing THIS quest, I will have completed my Scepter of the Shifting Sands. Finally. After two years.

The way this works: the raid might be doing either Karazhan or Zul'Aman, based on the wants, needs, and whims of the raiders and the raid organizer (usually myself or Nuitarin). Typically, this raid would be the opposite of whatever was run by Lava Crab on Thursday.
That means for example, if Lava Crab does Zul'Aman on Thursday, there's a good chance that we will be doing Karazhan on Sunday.
Please note that signing up DOES NOT GUARANTEE a raid invite. In particular, if the raid is doing Zul'Aman, raid balance and class balance must be established for the raid to "work" well. However, signing up DOES indicate your desire to attend and thus you will have a better shot at getting in in the first place.

There are very few "rules" associated with the mALT runs, but there are a few guidelines:
- All gear is ROLLED by classes that want it, no matter if you are an Alt or a main.
about who gets invites and who does not get invites. I've seen an
increasing number of people unhappy cause they didn't get in, or cause they come every week and one week they don't get a spot. I do this for FUN...I do this for YOU.
How Invites work:
- 1. Invite tanks
- 2. Invite healers
- 3. Invite necessary classes to complete the instance (ie Locks, mage tank ect.)
