Bartender

I finally set up Bartender for Lepp and Ardea on my laptop with the plan to copy that set up to my desktop and Spek's computer. I did my usual by just copy the contents of ..WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\Gorgonnash over on top of the same folder on my desktop... works with Trinity but when I logged onto Lepp all of the bars were in the default positions. Ardea's bars were all over the place...
Is there a way to easily transfer the UI from one PC to another?

You want to change profiles

I am setting up my bars etc for my alts. When I get their bar setup I just save it after im done to whatever their name or class is right?
I suppose what I am afraid of is that when I start changing around my bars I am gonna mess up my bars on my paladins ><

garreth — Fri, 03/14/2008 - 07:55If you set your profile to "mage" for ace addons, dragging and dropping should work between computers if the other computer will have a mage playing. Otherwise set it to "default", or even a custom name like "totally kick ass UI" and exit game like that. Move it over to the new computer and set the new one to use "totally kick ass UI".

THinking back it may have been better just to save it as the default mage.

garreth — Thu, 03/13/2008 - 16:18All ace2 addons allow you to set profiles based on class, toon name, etc. I would go to bartender -> profile -> and toggle around default. Or copy from default. When you set it up, did you exit wow completely to save it? Was it accidentally set to a different profile?
