Shaman Totems etc...

I'd like to know why I see Blizzard constantly showing pictures of shamans using totems as weapons. I mean like a 2h mace type of weapon. I wonder if this will ever be an in game play item? Does anyone know anything about this?

Ah, you're talking about the huge logs that shammies swing in the intro? It's more of a tauren thing and less of a "shammy" thing. I know that in Hyjal, at the horde camp, all the tauren warriors are swinging big crazy logs.
