Looks like it's currently bugged so no auto-splitting.

Submitted by garreth on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 09:03.

It blows my mind that we got better as the night wore on...

A one-shot Council is mind-boggling.  It was almost too easy.  The healing assignments were perfect last night guys.

BTW, since I can't really remember, what was the healing strat that made Bloodboil doable?  "Get Cisper in?" Was that it?

Mouseover splitting by boss is working again, just mouseover the "Full Report" text: http://wowwebstats.com/lnbcwf6kxjoh3

Submitted by Shihli on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 09:06.

I would say it was a combination of getting all the healers on-board with *exactly* who they were healing ... and getting the Bloodboil groups a bit more formally put-together.

Oh, and people taking Bloodboils weren't spacing out and forgetting their group assignments.

I guess the moral of the story is, taking a *bit* more time before each boss to get everyone on board with a night-by-night strat and assignments would probably save us a lot of wipes.

Submitted by Shihli on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 09:12.

Also, check out that epic Illidan attempt: ~75dmg The thing that did the damage was a snake trap - good ol' Viper got about 2 BILLION dps (granted, 75 damage over a split-second does that).

Also what killed us on

Submitted by TK28 on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 09:20.

Also what killed us on Bloodboil was the fact I couldn't get him off my nuts. Like I take 3 straight knockbacks and didn't lose aggro. I only noticed why when Garreth asked me about my gear then I noticed I was still in my TPS gear and itemrack had changed icons but not gear.

umm depends on Gear garreth

Submitted by TK28 on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 09:22.

umm depends on Gear garreth but I normally have 30%base dodge, mongoose is 3.5%, and the trinket gives 8%, and I should be exaulted to get my new neck from SSO that gives 100 dodge rating on proc.

I was really happy with my

Submitted by garreth on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 09:35.

I was really happy with my healing for the council fight:

 http://wowwebstats.com/lnbcwf6kxjoh3?s=11311-11929&a=42

I had a really good split of Holy Light 5, 9 and 11 plus Flash of Light, plus a few dire Holy Shocks.  My crit was dead-on for HL and a little high for Flash.  I got a stun off on the rogue once too (http://wowwebstats.com/lnbcwf6kxjoh3?s=11311-11929&a=113#buffs)

Running that Libram switching addon didn't cause me to hiccup at all, it was awesome. I cast 67 Holy Lights on this fight.  My addon switched in [Libram of Absolute Truth] on every single one of the Holy Lights, for a total of 2278 mana saved over the course of 10 minutes and 19 seconds.  This really only comes out to about 2.3 MP5 (2278/([10*60+19]/5)), but, hey, it's something.  With the T6 bonus of 5% MORE crit to Holy Light, I'll be using low rank HL much much more.  I should be sitting at roughly 39% Holy Light crit from now on.

All FoL heals had the [Blessed Book of Nagrand] switched in.  My average flash is so low on Karli because she had Dampen Magic on.  I'm still debating which buff is better for this fight: Dampen or Amp?

Garreth you would get better

Submitted by Dragonspear on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 09:41.

Garreth you would get better mana regen by using [Libram of Mending]

Its 22MP5 that lasts for 30 seconds after  you cast ANY holy light including if you change librams. I promise Garreth its godly

A technique which I'm trying

Submitted by garreth on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 09:51.

A technique which I'm trying to automate goes like this:

With [Libram of Mending] equipped I cast a Holy Light.  Then, the next Holy Light switches in [Libram of Absolute Truth] for the next 30 seconds.

You get the best of both worlds: 22 mp5 for 30 seconds AND a cheaper Holy Light across the board.  I want to see what Librameister can do about this.

It's a great idea, I just seems like you would be doin a lot of twisting. Its's something that would also take awhile to get used to but I can see where the benefits for it come from :D

Yup, Librameister will check

Submitted by garreth on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 09:55.

Yup, Librameister will check to see if you have the buff from [Libram of Mending].  If you don't it will switch in Mending for the next HL.  If you do, it will switch in Absolute Truth.

Fuck yes.

Garreth, On this fight, and

Submitted by karlizeth on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 10:01.

Garreth,

On this fight, and this fight only, I can keep both amplify magic (from myself, talented), and the "dampen magic" that I steal from the nethermancer.  So I'm actually getting both.  I'm not sure exactly how the numbers affect each other.  The tooltip for amp magic is to increase healing by 240, and the talent adds another 50% for a total of 360 per heal.  Then, the dampen magic I steal reads (according to wowhead, which may be slightly wrong) reduces magic damage taken by up to 75% and healing by up to 500.  So if all that is true you're getting your healing reduced by 140.  I don't actually remember reading that part on the tooltip during the fight, but then again it's not something I ever really remembered to pay attention to.

That's actually almost

Submitted by garreth on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 10:26.

That's actually almost perfect math there.

My average flash on you was about 1563 for that fight.  Amp and damp rock because they literally add/reduce a flat amount to heals, not a percentage of a heal based on cast time or +healing.  My normal flash lands in the high 1700s.

This lines up very closely with a total reduction of 140 flat healing (and I was in my mana gear, so overall heals were a little low on top of it :)
