The simple question to that is gear.

Hit Rating: For a TPS gear set go for as much hit as you can get 8.6%

Expertise: The biggest boost for any warrior tank is Expertise theres a trinket in MgT heroic thats 44expertise, a high stam, hit rating, and expertise neck. Humans of course have there passive bonuses to maces and swords, The bonus humans get for expertise is 5skill which is equal to 21 or 22 Expertise rating.

Block Value: There is a beautiful Meta gem out for tanks now I suggest all pallies and warriors have it, it's one of the only Scaling items we can get. Also there is a nice trinket from badge vendors many tanks had before 2.4 use it for trash at the least it's still very usefull.

 DPS items: If you by chance have a nice trinket for dps pop it on it will never hurt you unless you become crittable.

Avoidance: when you have a 60% chance to avoid damage taken it sucks unless your on a boss. You can counter this by tossing on some gear with more stam and less avoidance.

Spells: revenge is like sex it costs 2 rage talented. Use devastate only and let auto atks give you rage instead of using it on Heroic Strike.

AoE tanking: Were not pallies sadly so we have to make up for it by using Thunderclap, cleaving when CC isn't around, Tab and Shield Slam mobs then go back to your focus target. don't be upset when you can't hold aggro on 5mobs at once the only person they should go to is the healer if so it's your fault. if it's the Dps it's their fault.
