Download the application from the link above.
Once installation is complete follow these steps to set up your IRC connection.
- Add from the intial window. If you accidentally moved past that window you can access it through the buddy list. Click on Accounts > Manage > Add
- Protocal will be IRC
- Screen name is the name in which you want to be seen in IRC
- Server is irc.freenode.net
Your setup of Pidgin is now complete.
In order to connect to IRC each time you will need to follow these steps:
- Go to your buddy list click on Buddies > Join Chat > enter #downfall into the channel.
You are now connected!!
