What talent build do you use to raid?:

I use a 0/50/11 build for both tanking and DPS during raids: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZvhGsfrRezioxx0z This is my all around build I use for PVP, tanking, DPS, and farming. I feel that it is the closest I can come to have it be complimentry to my play style.

What role are you most comfortable/geared playing?:

Tell us a little about how your class contributes to a raid.:

As DPS and OT my biggest contribution comes with my leader of the pack (improved), which is why I commonly use my idol which adds 1% crit to my party when I am with a group of melee. A valuable aspect is also the ablity to DPS and tank depending on what is needed for trash pulls or bosses. I am comfortable playing both Main Tank, Off Tank, and DPS.

Would it be a problem if you had to wait 3 weeks or 3 months to get into raid?:

3 weeks I can, see but 3 months to me is a bit out of my range. I am a raider. I enjoy progression. I doubt anyone will need 3 weeks to decide I have the skill to get into 25 man raids, but if it takes that long to have a spot becuase of the amount of core skilled players that log on, then I am fine with that.

List the instances you have experience in, and the farthest you have been in that instance.:

Pre BC: I was on a different server where I was a class officer in my guild which was one of the fastest progressing alliance guilds at the time (on that server). We cleared all of MC, BWL, AQ, and got up to 4 horseman in Naxx when the expansion came out. Of course I was a healer at that point in time. BC: I run a speed karazan every week. Have killed (endlessly) Gruul and Mag both main tanking and DPS. I have not killed the last bosses in either TK or SSC but I have cleared both Hyjal and BT when I was in Mayhem before they split. And of course,Timed ZA's ... the bear mount has yet to land in my bags!!!!!! My new found hobby includes Main tanking and DPSing in sunwell trash for GKP's.

What is your favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

I really enjoy the the Illidan fight. Partially because I was there pioneering the many wipes before finally killing him. There is so much going on with everyone having to do their part near perfectly. Even if on the phase with the shards I just sit there, the whole encounter to me is just intense. I guess it was also becuase I have only been a part of killing him twice so it was new and exciting.

What is your least favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

The only encounters I do not enjoy are the ones where people are not giving their all. Doesn't matter if its my favorite boss fight; if people are dicking around it makes the raid just drag on and seem miserable. Even the worse fight is only as bad as how long it lasts or how many attempts. That being said, I dont mind wiping if we are all trying or that there may be a class conflict; it is just when people stop trying.

Why should we recruit you?:

I am a good and dedicated player. I understand that skill/attitude > gear. I know my role as a feral druid and have spent A LOT of time researching my class. I have referenced a lot of excellent web sites such as lootrank, elitist jerks, and several others to help gague what areas I can improve in. I am also in it for the social aspect. I am not a robot; I like to think im pretty easy going and fun to play with too. I am also maxed in alchemy: Elixir specialst. I do know all of the flasks. (see the damage meter in the screenshot with the UI) Raid buffed with procs off I can cap at 5.6k AP and 54% crit in cat. In Bear I am not crittable, 1/2 % from armor cap, and >20k health with around 50% dodge and 2.5k AP and 40% crit for some decent threat.

Why have you chosen to apply to Downfall?:

You are a progressing guild with skilled players. I love progression and a good challenge!

What do you expect to get out of Downfall membership?:

Friendships, time raiding with other good players, and hopefully a further glmpse into the Sunwell past the first couple trash packs.

How do you feel you will contribute to the downfall community?:

I have always been the go to tank for heroics and pick up Karas, Gruuls, and Mags. I like to repeat even the most mundane as long as it is with cool people. I am available every night at 5 server time Monday though Thursday to raid. I have excellent tanking and DPS gear, I was usually in the overall top 5 in DPS with Mayhem and typically top the meters in other pick up GKP's. I have tanked bosses in BT, and all of the trash in BT and Hyjal easily.

Do you have any references in Downfall?:

I have grouped with several members, but I don't think it would be fair to call on anyone to really speak for me yet

I am finishing my last year of school. I am currently doing rotations as a pharmacy intern before I graduate a year from now after 9 years of college. I work four 10 hours shifts starting early in the morning which is why I can make raids easily. No homework or tests now (thnk goodness) but my only concern is each rotation changes every 6 weeks as far as what time they need me to come in. Honestly, I dont forsee any problems but thought you should know a little background.

Right now DF has a plethora of raiding Ferals...and a very recent influx of Restos. There aren't really any open raid spots for a Feral Druid...I get the impression that you wouldn't be content with the hope that one of those druids decides he's done with raiding, and leaves wow. (all of the Ferals are beyond dedicated)

If a BT raid is your primary focus for the months to come...this is pretty unlikely. What are your thoughts on this?

My druid has always been my main, my lock is for fun and a good alternative to make more gold doing dailys and perhaps to pick up a caster slot in previous raids if the need came up.

In response to your post Aiden, my initial thoughts are, of course, those of dissapointment. However, I am not suprised. If BT raiding is "unlikely" I suppose if there is room in other aspects of the guild I would appreciate options to know if there is still a point to applying. Please let me know if I may have a place at all in any raid.

If you're looking for a community, a place to be a part of, and the slim possibility of a raid spot, possibly a long ways down the road, then Downfall is the place to be.

If you're more concerned about raiding end game, then you may want to consider going somewhere else.

Just as Kati said, we have a great community and we have things for you to do such as tank heroics, Gruuls/Mag runs, SSC/TK runs etc. There is the possibility of a fill in spot in a MH or BT...but it would be just that...a fill in spot. (I can't remember the last time a feral from either raid missed a raid day...)

Gruul/Mag and SSC/TK are once a week deal-eos. One on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Exactly Aidin. The reason we're in end game content is because our raiders have been consistent for the last year(?) in getting us to where we are today.

There is a chance for a fill-in position for MH/BT, but not a guaranteed raid spot. We DO run TK/SSC farm runs as well as an alt Gruul's and Magtheridon that you may have a spot in. No spots are guaranteed, just like no loot is guaranteed.

Like I said, if you're only interested in a permanent raid spot in a progressed raid, then this is probably not the best fit for you.

Kaletra ran SSC with us and tanked and dps'd like a champ. Was really smart, played hard and didn't AFK or whine.

We need more competent tanks in Downfall. Would like to hear back from him as to how often he's online. I can only really recommend him for SSC/TK and 10 man level raids at this point, but it'd be nice to have people available to tank those.
