Tell us a little about how your class contributes to a raid.:

My job as a war tank is to protect the squishes, from the big boss, to maintain high arrgo as well not to get crushed; keeping a thunder clap and sunder will in tern make the raid more efficient as well as my shouts. Being able to intervene an attack can be life or death for that healer/dps. Being able to stance dance will make the war able to adapt to most situations and with last and shield wall can give that extra 10 sec for the healers to get their shit in line.

Would it be a problem if you had to wait 3 weeks or 3 months to get into raid?:

depends on the raid, if i have to wait for BT/SW sure thats fine, but if i have wait weeks to get in za not to cool

cleared all heriocs, full kara, full za, gruul, mag, some scc, and some TK

high king, becuase the amount of coronation, looks so easy when you got it down right, but impossible when not done right.

mag, can be boring for other off tanks

Well I use to run and lead my old guilds raids in till it feel part. Was a big set back now just looking to experience all the end games raids (that look like fun and challenging). That I was unable to do with my old guild.

Thank you for your application to Downfall. We are not currently recruiting for our 25 man MH/BT/SW raids. This does not mean that your application is or will be rejected. What it does mean, is that you will now be faced with a few tasks.

Downfall is a community first and foremost and a successful raiding guild second. First you need to ask yourself what it is you want from Downfall. If it's a spot in end game raid, and nothing more...then you may want to seek entry into another one of the many guilds on Gorgonnash.

If you desire a strong sense of community then get ready to work for it! When we talk about community, we aren't talking about the type of community that jumps when you say OMGRUNMYALTTHRUVC!!!! We're talking about a group for people who love this game we pour our lives into, people who will run things with you when they have time, people who may have their own special way of contributing to the community.

Now that you have applied (and if my wall of text didn't lose u 2 paragraphs ago), don't just sit there and hope someone will come hunt you down and say "HERE'S YOUR INVITE!!" because that simply will not happen. Those who gain entry into Downfall work for it. Members have waited upwards of 3 months or more to be part of our community. How do you ensure that you have every option to be the next addition?

Here's an idea:

Stay active on this thread, it's your application. You will receive feedback and recommendations. Don't take anything personal, if you can't take constructive criticism, you will never make it in guild chat. Applications are open to the entire community, not just officers, so if you were a douche to a member in the past, be ready for it to bite you in the ass.
If given goals to meet, make them.
Sign up for events you can make and which you are geared for. No need to sign up for MH/BT/SW, as those aren't testing grounds for new members. Focus on the Sunday Gruul/Mag run by yours truly or the Saturday SSC/TK run by Grasen.
If you sign up...show up. No one likes an app who signs up for all raids and never shows.
Download the raid pack. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT show up to a Gruul/Mag or SSC/TK without our required add ons. If you do not understand what you are looking at, then research it. If you still don't understand, post you're question and someone will help you. (If you think only bad players use mods, we can say our goodbyes right now)
Do everything you can to get your name out there, and show why you should be part of our community. Run 5 mans, Run 10 mans, participate in forum discussions.

If and when you are accepted into Downfall, you are strictly on a trial basis. If we invite you because you convinced us you were the worlds greatest healer/tank/random dps class, and you looooooooooove to run 5 mans...but you never run a thing, you never sign up for fun runs, and you burn out and don't sign on for 1+ months, don't be surprised if you find yourself guildless on log in one day.

It's very simple, don't say what we want to hear just to get in, because it will haunt you in the end. Be honest, and we will be fair.

With that said....you can't app and run!!! No communication with you in over a month. Closing this application soon if nothing stirs the pot.

Looked at your gear however and I must say, definitely impressive. You've obviously spent a great deal of time Raiding and running Heroics.

The only recommendation I would like to make/point out is that you should really work on learning the "shift" key when starting your sentences. Helps IMO.

I can't say much for the Guild's needs concerning ZA tanks, but your obviously geared for it. My thoughts would be more a question on your willingness to add to the community as needed. There are many alts/mains that still need Heroic gear and that might be the only opening for a few weeks or even a few months. Is that acceptable?

I'm not implying that you wouldn't possibly get a run tommorow, as anything is possible. My concern is closer to your answer here:

Does game play include Heroics, World-Bosses, and pre-BC content? We are a community first, and a Raiding guild second. I'm actually a relatively new member of the guild, but these are serious questions for you to consider.

2) Someone is actually still using DamageMeters? Wow ... upgrade to Violation or at the very least, get SWStats!
