What talent build do you use to raid?:

What role are you most comfortable/geared playing?:

DPS

Tell us a little about how your class contributes to a raid.:

The shaman class is a support class and thus is there to buff the group with its totems. Also, Depending on the spec I can contribute through raid heals or with high dps. Not as high as a well geared Rogue or warlock, but high enough to make a difference

Would it be a problem if you had to wait 3 weeks or 3 months to get into raid?:

No. Just as long as I have a guild with a lot of cool people that want to do things in the game.

List the instances you have experience in, and the farthest you have been in that instance.:

I have experience in pretty much all the Burning Crusades instances, with the exception of Heroic Manatombs, Heroic Underbog, and Heroic Auchenai Crypts. As for raids I have experience with Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon's Lair, Serpentshrine Cavern and some experience in The Eye and Mount Hyjal. Pre-Burning Crusades I have no raid experience.

What is your favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

To tell the truth my favorite one so far is Leotheras the Blind, since he is challenging everytime I've fought him. He is a boss that can really test a raids ability.

What is your least favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

Probably Magtheridon, he just seems to be a long fight that is kind of difficult for no reason. I don't think the encounter is as fun as the others I've been in.

Samelynn is a level 61 (soon to be 62) Priest. I hope to get him up to 70 in the weeks to come.

Is this app for your main alone, or would you like to bring alts over as well?:

I'd like to bring some alts over too

Why should we recruit you?:

Because I'm an experienced raider that likes to help out where ever I can. I'm up for respecing when needed, so that I can dps or heal if need be. Plus I buff my party with my totems, making sure healers don't run out of mana (in the healer group) and I buff he dps in the melee or caster dps groups. All around I help out.

Why have you chosen to apply to Downfall?:

Because your a good guild and one that I feel isn't going away anytime soon. I want a guild that will stay together and you have proven you can over a long period of time.

What do you expect to get out of Downfall membership?:

I expect to meet a lot of cool people and to see content that I haven't yet seen, in my current guild.

How do you feel you will contribute to the downfall community?:

I like to socialize and I feel that I can contribute by adding to the community aspect of your guild. I also feel that I can help out in raids by healing or proving dps, as well as, group buffs with my totems.

How long do you intend to stay in Downfall?:

As long as I can. I have no plans on leaving.

What things might cause you to leave?:

There would have to be a guild collapse. Or maybe if it was 2 years and I never got into any raids or something. It would have to be a really bad situation for me to leave.

Gear upgrades will only come

Gear upgrades will only come from Hyjal/BT. Some T6 or offset items would be a huge upgrade for you. Also, work on getting some of the badge gears i'll list below:

The Badge Belt: Clutch of the Soothing Breeze (22 Heal Gem)

The Badge Ring: Anveena's Touch (In place of your dmg/heal ring from kara)

Even the Badge Legs/Chest are big upgrades for you. If you have enough badges, but the 2 biggest upgrades for you I listed above. Also, dont use 3mp5 gems. Use a healing/mp5 gem in the blue slots.

Other than that, your gear looks rly good for where you're at. Try to be online like Ataraxia said. Some good time in Hyjal/BT will have your gear upgraded in no time. :)

Ya I've been saving for those 2 items Nhia. I right now have about 51 badges so a kara run and maybe a heroic would get me the belt or I could go for the ring. The reason my gear isn't better is that, I was raiding elemental for a long time and I made the switch to resto to help out in my guild, about a month or more ago. So I will continue to push to improve my gear to be a better healer. Also, I've never used Grid to be honest. I've used Healbot and Decursive. But I'm open to learning to use Grid if that is what is wanted by the raid leaders.

As for my end game raiding experience, I've been in SSC for a number of months as a dps and a few times as a healer. I've been in Hyjal just past the first boss (sorry my we never got farther in) and I've never been in BT. As for Sunwell, I've only been in there for Trash GKPs and that was as a healer. But I've seen many of the BT fights already, since my brother was in some end game raiding guilds, so I would sometimes watch him and his guild do the boss fights. I know that watching and doing a fight are to different things, but I learn fast and I know that I can do it.

I would like to apologize for not being on at the start of the TK raid today. I got caught up doing work at my church. To update you. I manage and heal a Gruul's pug run yesterday with Grid and Decursive (old habits die hard). It took a little getting use to, but I think I have it. I'm just waiting for a chance to show you what I can do.

Also, am I allowed to sign up for your events? I see you have a number on your calender that I am available for. I just don't want to start signing up without your permission.
