So I finally decided to do some changes and update my UI and make it nice. Like to hear any sugjestions/changes anyone can think of. I'll post a new image of me in raid tomorrow night.

I don't know if that means it's using Ace libraries (somehow I doubt that). Also, the guys behind the Ace libraries have stated that they will probably cease to exist in the same way they do currently come WotLK. They aren't really able to stay afloat - the WowAce stuff sees a huge amount of traffic every day and they aren't able to fully support their expenses. What I've heard is that a lot of the WowAce stuff is going to be rolled into Curse.com 's interface updater tool.

So my point still stands: Addons that share the same resources/libraries are more efficient. WoWAce addons will most definitely still be around, just using a new client to access them. This I'm actually quite excited about. And if X-perl made the switch to Ace resources, I might even start recommending it's usage ;)

Since Rogue's system is mainly using the Ace2/3 libraries, these have already been loaded in-memory to be made available to other addons. Pitbull/AgUf use these libraries. Thus they're using pre-existing resources for their own purposes. X-Perl, on the other hand, uses it's own entirely separate set of libraries to do what it does. So instead of efficient use of the Ace libraries already being loaded, it loads an entire 10-20mb of it's own stuff.
