Tell us a little about how your class contributes to a raid.:

I love to heal. I feel that my off-healing can greatly contribute to the guild, and make raids go more smoothly. I know how to play my class and I understand that a Druid's heals are very useful in any raid.

Would it be a problem if you had to wait 3 weeks or 3 months to get into raid?:

I would not want to wait 3 months to get into a raid, but i gladly would if it were to benefit the guild. I am not an impatient person.

All of Karazhan except Netherspite, and the bear boss of Zul'aman

What is your favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

I will always love fighting Nightbane. The maneuverability needed to defeat him is manageable yet fun.I also enjoy how he looks, and the graphics used throughout the fight.

What is your least favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

My least favorite boss would have to be Nalorakk. The only reason for this is that i love all raid bosses and he is just at the bottom of my list. I do not hate him, just he has given me some trouble in the past, like strange glitches which stopped us from continuing with the raid.

I really do not have any alts that i play on other then what i wanted to make into a 29 twink, which is at this moment is level 26, and is named Doonkabaloon ( don't blame me this was named by a friend). He is still on the server Anub'arak.

Is this app for your main alone, or would you like to bring alts over as well?:

Why should we recruit you?:

I am a restoration druid with mostly Karazhan gear.I hope that I would be a treasured raiding asset to my guild. I am friendly, social, very agreeable, and I can overlook things, like if i need to wait for a long time for a raid.

Why have you chosen to apply to Downfall?:

Simply put, my two best friends have both applied lately to Downfall, and i have been told it is a great guild. I am looking forward to a social friendly raiding environment.

What do you expect to get out of Downfall membership?:

I expect that i will have an enjoyable and memorable raiding experience, to learn higher tier raids, and get to know Gorgannash a bit better.

How do you feel you will contribute to the downfall community?:

I am social and friendly and i hope to advance the guilds raiding standards, along with my own.

I do not have refrences right now, but my friends Paranoia( with a weird o) and jenel have also applied to downfall.

As long as would benifit the guild.

Large arguments with many guild members, or terrible continuing racism.

Thank you for your application to Downfall. We are not currently recruiting for our 25 man MH/BT/SW raids. This does not mean that your application is or will be rejected. What it does mean, is that you will now be faced with a few tasks.

Downfall is a community first and foremost and a successful raiding guild second. First you need to ask yourself what it is you want from Downfall. If it's a spot in end game raid, and nothing more...then you may want to seek entry into another one of the many guilds on Gorgonnash.

If you desire a strong sense of community then get ready to work for it! When we talk about community, we aren't talking about the type of community that jumps when you say OMGRUNMYALTTHRUVC!!!! We're talking about a group for people who love this game we pour our lives into, people who will run things with you when they have time, people who may have their own special way of contributing to the community.

Now that you have applied (and if my wall of text didn't lose u 2 paragraphs ago), don't just sit there and hope someone will come hunt you down and say "HERE'S YOUR INVITE!!" because that simply will not happen. Those who gain entry into Downfall work for it. Members have waited upwards of 3 months or more to be part of our community. How do you ensure that you have every option to be the next addition?

Here's an idea:

Stay active on this thread, it's your application. You will receive feedback and recommendations. Don't take anything personal, if you can't take constructive criticism, you will never make it in guild chat. Applications are open to the entire community, not just officers, so if you were a douche to a member in the past, be ready for it to bite you in the ass.
If given goals to meet, make them.
Sign up for events you can make and which you are geared for. No need to sign up for MH/BT/SW, as those aren't testing grounds for new members. Focus on the Sunday Gruul/Mag run by yours truly or the Saturday SSC/TK run by Grasen.
If you sign up...show up. No one likes an app who signs up for all raids and never shows.
Download the raid pack. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT show up to a Gruul/Mag or SSC/TK without our required add ons. If you do not understand what you are looking at, then research it. If you still don't understand, post you're question and someone will help you. (If you think only bad players use mods, we can say our goodbyes right now)
Do everything you can to get your name out there, and show why you should be part of our community. Run 5 mans, Run 10 mans, participate in forum discussions.

If and when you are accepted into Downfall, you are strictly on a trial basis. If we invite you because you convinced us you were the worlds greatest healer/tank/random dps class, and you looooooooooove to run 5 mans...but you never run a thing, you never sign up for fun runs, and you burn out and don't sign on for 1+ months, don't be surprised if you find yourself guildless on log in one day.

It's very simple, don't say what we want to hear just to get in,
because it will haunt you in the end. Be honest, and we will be fair.

I would replace all your gems with [Purified Shadow Pearl]. With that much Spirit at your level you really do not need int.

I noticed that you are just starting Kara Violet Eye rep... so you probably do not have a lot of badges for the badge gear... Make that your goal. Kara gear is nice but the badge gear is so much better.

I noticed that he regemmed most slots... need to get rid of that int gem too... Gems > Set bonus.

You do not need to worry about Int until you hit ~2k healing with 500 regen.

well i had this nice post done up & pressed preview & never posted so i guess here goes again hehe

this looks like a solid app he's definitely changing the things that have been mentioned to him to change. A few tips I'll point out that havent been mentioned yet.

Get [Golden Spellthread] for your pants helps a ton, and healing enchanted on your gloves as well.

Keep up the work on your shattered sun dailies I love the healing necklace [Shattered Sun Pendant of Restoration] but the benefits from that come from being exhalted with either aldor/scryer so that means work on your scryers rep as well not only to benefit that but also so you can get [greater inscription of the oracle] also as far as rep goes keep doing the questline for violet eye rep with kara and get your exhalted ring. One thing that would be good for you to look for dropping is the [Jade Ring of the Everliving] off of prince to replace your [signet of repose]

Although your trinket [Pendant of the Violet Eye] is nice a better choice would be [Essence of the Martyr] available from the badge vendor in shat for only 41 badges of justice.

Thanks. I'm working hard on getting then necklace, and I will get the essence using my badges. As for the ring, I am running kara once a week, and I have yet to see it drop, but when it does I will be sure to give it a roll.
