Need suggestions for Desktop
karlizeth — Mon, 08/11/2008 - 08:33
I finally have a nice new monitor at work and would like some suggestions for some work-friendly desktop wallpaper. Widescreen resolution preferred. I remember quite some time ago (but couldn't find it in a site search) a few people saying they had dynamic desktops by getting feeds from like astronomy or science websites. Any suggestions?

You can sort it to show only widescreen wallpapers in the resolution you want! I actually made my own wallpaper by editing two I found at that site into one.
Something like that would probably get you some brownie points with you boss too lol.

Dufe — Mon, 08/11/2008 - 08:43Those "wallpaper feed" websites usually have rather buggy/memory hogging clients. We used to fix alot of rather odd computer issues by simply uninstalling it. That was 5+ years ago, so I guess try it out and see if they've gotten any better. I know the most popular one back then was called Webshots.
