http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0ebovZMIV0bVzxMGkt i like this build because i like swords and think they are fun. it also provides a steady stream of damage output. when WotLK comes out i would like to try a Mutilate build just to see how much damage i can pull out of the combination of cut to the chase, deadly brew, and the sheer combo point generation of assn.

no i understand that i don't have the gear to be a true asset to the raid. after i hit 70 i am planning on running the hell out of kara and heroics for all the t4 and badge gear i can get.

Pre BC i had gotten as far as C'thun but never downed him due to a pvp streak i went on and ended up grinding Rank 13 on my shaman. in BC i have experience with everything up to the 4th boss in Hyjal.

What is your favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

i always enjoyed Morogrim Tidewalker because as a Enh shaman it allowed me to just sit there and just beat the hell out of something, im a nerd and really play the game to figure out how to squeeze as much out of what ever im doing. so the ability to just stand in one spot and just get my cycles down between shocks and stormstrike and my totems made me happy.

What is your least favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

Any final boss of an instance with the guild MALICE from firetree because they are unable to kill any final boss in any instance past Magtheridon.

i have a 61 warrior Cihe, (59 minutes played) 62 druid Kochi (on bleeding hollow), 60 priest Seehay, 62 paladin Teroth. really i am down to play any of my characters what ever is needed for the raid.

Why should we recruit you?:

i don't have any old screen shots of dmg meters form back in the MC raider days for my rogue, but i can promise you that i wont stand in any fire.

Why have you chosen to apply to Downfall?:

Ryan (Vulk) had convinced a mutual friend to reroll on the server and i had been growing tired of my old server so another friend and myself took advantage of the recruit a friend program and started here on gorg.

What do you expect to get out of Downfall membership?:

an enjoyable and friendly but still competent guild mates who like to laugh and have a good time while downing bosses. i am a big fan of guilds who are more then just there to down bosses i enjoy guilds for the community. the best guild i was ever in was my horde guild. every year we had a BBQ at the GMs house, and we would all road trip it to Norfolk. i am not suggesting yall have a BBQ but thats how i think of a good guild more like a bunch of friends who like to have fun playing WoW and killing stuff.

How do you feel you will contribute to the downfall community?:

A team work oriented competent player who like having a good time.

I make electricity from shiny rocks for the USN. So only reason i would leave is if i got deployed (shouldn't, be happening for at least another year) and even then i doubt i would leave long as im enjoying myself in the guild.

I am told i am an ass hole. honestly i feel that i simply "calls em as i sees em" a trait learned from the Navy. i don't intend to be an ass hole i simply expect others to bring everything they are capable of to the table because i constantly put forth a honest effort to be the best at what i do and it doesn't make sense to me why others wouldn't want to as well.

i have been playing sense release. (i used to play DAoC and had quit mmos but then my best friend and my ex convinced me to play WoW -_-)

i am an e4 in the Navy, i make electricity from shiny rocks. i curse a lot. favorite color is green but i am deathly allergic to lettuce. i love both banana laffy taffy and apple sauce. i once drank a gallon of milk. i enjoy most all music but country. people tell me that i look like NPH. i prefer ankle socks over normal socks. my favorite soda is Dr Pepper. my favorite brand of shoe to wear is Puma. and lastly i have an outie belly button my favorite number is eleventyseven. Most other stuff that would be useful i have mentioned previously in the application. (also i have no idea why wow armory says he is on Bleeding Hollow still.)

Something in that other 5% causes me to vomit uncontrolably. my body has grown proficent enough to when i get a taco from taco bell and a piece of lettuce slips in that was just on the prep table i can tell its there from just the first bit of the taco. (also volcano tacos are amazing)

Thank you for your application to Downfall. We are not currently recruiting for our 25 man MH/BT/SW raids. This does not mean that your application is or will be rejected. What it does mean, is that you will now be faced with a few tasks.

Downfall is a community first and foremost and a successful raiding guild second. First you need to ask yourself what it is you want from Downfall. If it's a spot in end game raid, and nothing more...then you may want to seek entry into another one of the many guilds on Gorgonnash.

If you desire a strong sense of community then get ready to work for it! When we talk about community, we aren't talking about the type of community that jumps when you say OMGRUNMYALTTHRUVC!!!! We're talking about a group for people who love this game we pour our lives into, people who will run things with you when they have time, people who may have their own special way of contributing to the community.

Now that you have applied (and if my wall of text didn't lose u 2 paragraphs ago), don't just sit there and hope someone will come hunt you down and say "HERE'S YOUR INVITE!!" because that simply will not happen. Those who gain entry into Downfall work for it. Members have waited upwards of 3 months or more to be part of our community. How do you ensure that you have every option to be the next addition?

Here's an idea:

Stay active on this thread, it's your application. You will receive feedback and recommendations. Don't take anything personal, if you can't take constructive criticism, you will never make it in guild chat. Applications are open to the entire community, not just officers, so if you were a douche to a member in the past, be ready for it to bite you in the ass.
If given goals to meet, make them.
Sign up for events you can make and which you are geared for. No need to sign up for MH/BT/SW, as those aren't testing grounds for new members. Focus on the Sunday Gruul/Mag run by yours truly or the Saturday SSC/TK run by Grasen.
If you sign up...show up. No one likes an app who signs up for all raids and never shows. Be sure to send a tell to the raid leader so he/she knows you are available and ready to rock.
Download the raid pack. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT show up to a Gruul/Mag or SSC/TK without our required add ons. If you do not understand what you are looking at, then research it. If you still don't understand, post you're question and someone will help you. (If you think only bad players use mods, we can say our goodbyes right now)
Do everything you can to get your name out there, and show why you should be part of our community. Run 5 mans, Run 10 mans, participate in forum discussions.

If and when you are accepted into Downfall, you are strictly on a trial basis. If we invite you because you convinced us you were the worlds greatest healer/tank/random dps class, and you looooooooooove to run 5 mans...but you never run a thing, you never sign up for fun runs, and you burn out and don't sign on for 1+ months, don't be surprised if you find yourself guildless on log in one day.

It's very simple, don't say what we want to hear just to get in, because it will haunt you in the end. Be honest, and we will be fair.

So this is one of my "Horde Converts." He is actually a friend of my RL friend who i finally got to reroll alliance. One great guy and I think he will fit in nicely with the rest of the people in downfall. and Damn you Cihe now they know my name *shakes an angry fist like old man yelling GET OFF MY LAWN* Damn u made me laugh with your least favorite boss and telling us about yourself

Cihe, Striffington, Jocoaf and Decedant are all the horde I have corrupted over to our side. :) Come into vent sometime to talk to them. Striffington (Nate) is my RL friend and Jocoaf(Mitri) is his brother. Cihe(Shane) and Decedant(Jared) are the others that decided to come along.
(those are their horde toon names I know them by, we usually call each other by actual name so I haven't committed their their alliance toon names to memory yet)

This is the first of their apps I have seen, the other three are awaiting authentication to post. Here's to hoping they get in :)
