Well it may come surprising to some of ya that I have NOT been on vacation. I didn't get caught up in school, I didn't get overloaded at work, and I did not have an emotional midlife crisis. All of these reasons, I would have been able to log online and make a post notifying of my absence.

Verizon decided Wednesday that it was no longer appropriate for I to has the internets. I was unable to get internet service. Waiting for a few hours, resetting the modem/router over and over I realized it was not coming online and raid was drawing near (epic suspense). Anyways, they said it was fine on their side and that they would send out a technician on Friday to see what was going on. Between 10am-6pm those F'n aholes. So I wait around all day thinking I could make Friday's raid. 5:45 came and I realized they weren't coming. Spending an hour or so on the phone we got to the point that their tech dispatch team did a line ping, saw it was fine, and canceled my support ticket. According to the tech support (I got him to admit hes in India) it IS typical for a dispatch tech to NOT call the customer when he feels the problem has been solved.

After talking to a supervisor (or as they call it, a lvl 3 technician) he was able to find out that I had a rare case that went unnoticed earlier. He transferred me to a local network technician and he said he'll have to fix the problem at the network office first thing Monday. So here it is Monday afternoon and I has internets again.

So basically, my internet has been offline from Wednesday morning to today (Monday) morning. I have had no way to even check my e-mail, WTF spore is out?, and I realized I have no one's phone number ingame to contact. Sorry for the inconvience, and please realize, it wasn't fun for me either. (I think I actually had withdrawls).
