I think you guys are kinda making mountains out of molehills here, moving to ssc and tk would be no prob for anyone with full epics, even if they are pvp.... I have done ssc and tk with my past 2 guilds, with crappy class balances and people who cannot pay attention. I honestly think it would be no prob to take down a lot of the bosses in these instances, as well as some of MH if the appropriate focus is present. Im not talking about omg lets get these bosses down or its over! Im talking more of what i have already seen from malt raids.... granted i have only been to one yet, and I am just an app, but these are just some ramblings about my past experiences and the confidence I have in you all to be able to accomplish these things.  Even if it is your alts, you guys are still one of the best guilds on the server, and thus one of the best groups of players on the server.... Also, tk and ssc would be a much better test of the apps since they are harder instances right? =)

I'm all for moving forward, the knowledge in this guild is awsome and can support alts moving into higher places.  I would hate to see the mags and grulls runs go away though, they are quick and help alot of other guildies that arent in our main raids or who have alts.  Weekends our usally busy for me, but as I've said before I'll help any run when ya'll need me.  As for me, I'd like to see some Archimonde downings!!

Not to mention, mAlt regulars will get a serious chance for SSC/TK gear.  And its not like it would mess up the Smash'N'Grabs to terribly for those that can't come Sunday because not every mAlt will be SSC/TK.

The only question then becomes, do you still want KZ in the rotation for mAlt?   I know that's a rude way to put it, (and saddens me b/c I still need phat l00tz from there....), but wouldn't it be more prudent to keep mAlt focused on the more complex instances since they take a good deal of learning and then just shift KZ to early-morn Saturday?  Call it mini-kara as a raid-name, and (give me a few more KZ runs.....) I wouldn't mind running it since between my soon-to-be tankadin and Fjork, that's where my gear will be for a while.  Then alts can still reliably hit KZ as soon as they get 70, and mAlt can focus on gearing up those that have already passed the Maglootpina gear-check.

Malt clears on Saturday what it can...Smash and Grab becomes a Kael/Vash run...and as long as there are still paying vial customers...we keep in guild repair money...This isn't shaping up to be a bad idea at all.

I think it is good to branch out.  Malt, just like any normal raid has been doing AZ and Kara for a while, now.  And just like any normal raid, they would eventually bump up the difficulty of the Raids.  While I would prefer Hyjal for my own greedy needs, I think SSC/TK would be perfect at this point.  Malt is evolving just like any normal raid.

if the malts started to do tk and ssc the smash&grab could easily turn it up to MH

Vials would be more readily availible with more time on right bosses and some of the alts that are maxed out T4 would have a chance to do something with a chance at gains

Now it means the newer alts and apps would have to do some more leg work before hand and turn it up a notch but is this really a bad thing ?
