FF7 was the first real RPG
Dragonspear — Fri, 09/12/2008 - 09:19FF7 was the first real RPG game I played, however from an RP and storyline standpoint I have to give the nod to Both Final Fantasy Tactics and to the Baldur's Gate series on PC.
I still think FF7 was a great game, one day I might have enough money to buy Crisis Core.
Overall though I'd have to agree with Shihli's assessment of Anime. Its why i stopped watching it so long ago.

Another excellent composer is Nobuo Uematsu, he's the guy that's made the music for most of the modern Final Fantasy games.

Shihli — Fri, 09/12/2008 - 08:15Chrono Cross had some very very unique ideas, and sexcellent music (I'm forgetting the guy's name ...). Too damn many playable characters (44) drown out the "story" and make it hard if not impossible to care about any of them though.
Overall a good game though!
