WoW Mac Help!
Vossa — Mon, 10/06/2008 - 09:22
So as some of you may know I was gone for quite a while, mainly with computer troubles, but I am back now and with a super pretty MacBook Pro. WoW runs great on it, but once I started to think about an updater that will work with a mac I started to run into some problems. At first I was using WoWaceupdater that some third party guy put out and it worked great until the recent Curse/ace merger or whatever. And now it will not show any addons or update any of the ones that I have. So any help in that department would be greatly appreciated. Also when I have WoW and Vent up at the same time I can only talk in vent if that window is up and not wow, so this causes me problems with multitasking, is their a way where I can still be in WoW and playing and talk in vent with push to talk without having to go look at vent while im talking and cause me to do epic fails in game? Thanks for any help!

Vossa, I've had similar vent
Tankard — Mon, 10/06/2008 - 10:19Vossa, I've had similar vent issues and you have to change your PTT key to be one of the modifier keys (control, option, shift or command). Other key presses don't go through to the backgrounded app. I use control.
Vossa, looks like we're SOL
carno — Mon, 10/06/2008 - 09:50Vossa, looks like we're SOL when it comes to wowace updater. They've been eaten by curse and seems like things are moving to a freemium model. Checkout this post:
