Downfall and Friends Take Orgrimmar/Undercity/Silvermoon/Thunderbluff

At 7:25 PM server time, our raid entered the top Horde capital, Orgrimmar. Four minutes is all it took for Thrall, leader of Orgrimmar, to fall. After this triumph over the Horde, Downfall, aided by a grp of elite Alliance guilds, crept thru the filth of the sewers deep within the Undead capital. Quickly arriving within the chambers of Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, obtaining reign throughout the city, Downfall and Allies celebrated a well earned victory.
With the two most important Horde capitals destroyed, other downfall members, along with additional elite alliance, formed groups to further the destruction within Horde territory.
---I don't wish to include any ignorance towards the rest of the mayhem that took place during the evening, but I must admit...
This night will be hard to forget as we all witnessed a total anarchy within multiple Horde capitals. To my guild, Downfall worked well tonight. Thank you leaders and friends.
With the footage I obtained tonight, I hope that something is created which is worthy of the performance of our guild.

We kept falling farther and farther back knowing that 40 or more DF were on their way. We held out til right before they made it respawned and just PWNED everything in our path! That was EPIC!

Thanks to all the players who organized/oversaw the attack and I also want to just point out the one thing that truely astounded me: We followed directions/were where we needed to be and directed to be without any difficulty at all!!! That brought the nerdy lump to my throat right there.

anyways... Today I was thinking about the signifigance of what we accomplished last night and I am truly proud to have been a part of it.

Greatest thing I have ever seen in my history of WoW.
It's funny actually because I never thought that I would be Alliance (after spending 2 something years on my Tauren shaman), and I never really expected to be a part of what essentially was the raping of an entire empire (one that I was part of for so long).
BUT
I am very proud of what we did, and was having the time of my life as we laid waste to each and every city.
I loved hearing the screams/cheers/enthusiam of all the people that are/were not familiar with the beauty of world PVP (it may have been post BC, but it still showed people the potential and reminded some of us of the glorius past).
Honestly.. one of the funnest nights I have ever had.

The thing I remember most was us shouting, "We are suffering massive damage and casualties, we need reinforcements", to a reply of, "Ummm yeah guys just hold your trousers up, Garreth saw a butterfly and is chasing it. We can't enter the city, till the darn thing has been caught and catalogued in his collection." It was one of the funniest things in my life. FYI HORDE SHAMMIES: need to work on less Mie and more Sham if they wanna dance with the DF magical goats.

Georgepatton — Mon, 10/13/2008 - 09:04Serenity does plan another event like this one, although it will primarily focused on killing bosses for the bear mount. But, if our reports are correct, killing city bosses nets us 1k honor each person.
We're looking forward to working with Downfall in the future, both in a combined guild city raid and in Winterspring, if you guys are interested. Dominating Winterspring is part of securing access to an important raid instance. Combined efforts between the biggest PVP guild and PVE guild together would result in a powerful force.
