What talent build do you use to raid?:

8/0/53 - this seem to be the one that is highly tauted on EJ. I've tried others as well that provided boost in intellect and reduce mana cost on totems,.... in the end it's all based on gameplay and how you adjust your gear to make up for deficiencies.

Tell us a little about how your class contributes to a raid.:

Shammies are currently the most versatile class in wow in my opinion. I leveled as enhanced and really enjoyed the melee class. I switched to resto at the request of the raid leader; and that opened a whole new play style. Our biggest contribution to raid would be our totems, chain heal and heroisms. I would also add that we are probably a close second to pallies on survivability due to the mail armor and shield we can equip.

What role are you most comfortable/geared playing?:

Healing

Would it be a problem if you had to wait 3 weeks or 3 months to get into raid?:

Not at all as it would probably take me that long to assimilate into the DF ways of doing things. I do enjoy raiding and if a spot is not available -- it will be the break I'm looking for to level another toon :)

Full clears on -- Kara, ZA, Mags, Gruul, SSC, TK, MH (and DL Kazaak) 4 bosses in BT

What is your favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

The difficult ones are always my favorite. For one, being a healer it keeps me on my toes -- as oppose to standing in one spot and healing. Two, I like reading up and researching various strategies and offer suggestions to the raid. Three, it's a great feeling when the boss hits the dirt pile. Few that comes to mind are Vashj, Kaelthas and Archimonde.

What is your least favorite 25-man BC Boss encounter, and why?:

Can't say that I have any as I enjoy raiding and killing bosses.

Why should we recruit you?:

There is going to be a shortage on healers once wotlk is released. I don't plan on changing specs since I've invested a lot of time and gear being resto. I'm a reliable and mature player. I'm always either in the top two or three in raid for healing.

Why have you chosen to apply to Downfall?:

You are the best !!!

What do you expect to get out of Downfall membership?:

Expectations really has to go both ways. Unless I have done my share to help and contribute,... I cannot expect anything.

How do you feel you will contribute to the downfall community?:

I believe I have a lot to contribute to Downfall. I love theorycrafting and hence try to stretch my character's abilities beyond it's current gear set. I also enjoy trying different things out,... i.e. Garreth and I had a long discussion about spellsurge and how that woudl benefit the raid. Just so you know,... my current guild still hasn't adopted this :(. I log to your website because I enjoy the lively interaction by everyone. I feel like I'm talking to myself in my present guild as only a handful of people log.

Leaving is never easy. I enjoy the game and the many friends I make along the way.

I've downloaded your raid pack and have enjoyed using them all. I wish I had discovered them sooner. I know,... my UI stinks,... I just have not had the time to play with it some more.

About time Lesda!! I know you were flirting with the idea of applying for some time. I LOVE this person. He makes raiding more enjoyable because he actually pays attention to what is happening and thinks criticlly without malice. Often he will notice a small change that makes a positive difference for approaching a battle or situation that clears the confusion. Almost every raid/group/encounter I've had with him over the last few years has been refreshing and uncomplicated.
