By the way, Chrome has more

Dufe — Mon, 10/13/2008 - 17:58

By the way, Chrome has more security holes than a redneck's old pickup.  The security alert briefings continue to pour in.

"Stylish fox Icon" ... rofl

GrayVon — Mon, 10/13/2008 - 11:05

"Stylish fox Icon" ... rofl ...

Just as a side note though, the reason that Firefox isn't reported to be as vernable as IE is more due to the fact that Hackers like to hit as big a crowd as possable when they make thier viruis .. (see Sucide bomber) no fun just blowing up a couple of people if you can get 20 times as much with the same effort.

Firefox is "safer" because it's under the radar, not because it's better (which it is btw).

Firefox is safer due to what

garreth — Mon, 10/13/2008 - 11:46

Firefox is safer due to what YOU can do to firefox:

See "NoScript" and "AdblockPlus".

And, it's safer due to it's automatic blocking of ActiveX components, unlike IE where ActiveX is usually set to auto-run. So, yes, regardless of "crowd size" it's safer.

But me likely Firefox

Dragonspear — Mon, 10/13/2008 - 10:55

But me likely Firefox =(

Chrome tracks everything done on your computer and sends it back the Govn't. Internet Exploder does just that. Haven't tried Safari though.
