Blizzcon Day 2

Gares and I got to experience the thing we were warned about most, which was the lines!
The day before, Jinx was selling the talking Murloc pets. They sold out in record time and were anticipating selling out again on Saturday. They limited the Murlocs to one per person and the line was massive. Luckily our good friend Shinso and his companion Jesse were already in line by the time we got there. We waited in line for a good hour in order to get our Murloc and were triumphant in the end. We each walked out of the line with a murloc in hand and smiles on our faces.
By the time we had purchased our Murloc, we went to the Dungeons and Raids discussion in the C hall. While waiting for the panel to start, we met up with Ewiges, cleverly disguised as some dude's girlfriend named Itata or something like that. He had met up with a guy who's girlfriend was bored with Blizzcon and Ewiges was able to join us thanks to him.
Anyways, the new instances look pretty cool, but from where we sat, we couldn't really see all the details. This is where I got told to "use my indoor voice" by some asshat sitting in front of me. He told me that "he paid to get in" and all I could do was sarcastically ask him if he wanted me to tell everyone behind me to shut up too. After the panel was over, one of his guild mates came over and apologized for the noob and told me that the guy was pretty low in guild and that he'd made a fool of himself. No where else will you have someone apologize for their guild mate!
The Q&A session after that panel was pretty good. We moved seats so that we could get a better view and acoustics and quite a few questions that I had were answered. There was definitely alot of nerd rage from some people and you could always tell if the person was a bad player based on the question. About the time some girl asked if they would take changing aspects off the GCD I wanted to slap her.
After the Q&A we had hoped to go to the Class discussion, but Gares and I got stuck in the Blizzard store ------------------------------ and it took longer than we expected. We then went to the Diablo 3 ---------------------------------- and it took longer than we had hoped. We didn't get to play it, but it looked pretty sweet from watching other people.
We met back up with Shinso and his Asian Entourage (as Gares so lovingly coined them) and we went to dinner. It's funny to watch poor people at restaurants. Crackers taste really good....
After dinner we headed back to the Con to watch the closing ceremonies. We got there kind of late and had to sit in the back, but you could still see the screen just fine. Patton Oswald was the comedian and only really got progressively funny near the end. The level 80 Elite Tauren Death Knights performed after that and wow, they are a strange set of people and talent...
The highlight of the closing ceremonies had to be Video Games Live which is the symphony orchestra that plays all the music in Starcraft and Warcraft. They gave me goosebumps. The Lament of the Highborne is a beautifully creepy song and I was so glad they performed it.
When everything closed down, we headed back to the hotel to gather the troops and drink some beer. And that is another story in it's own...
