Have issues - Need help
Darthon — Wed, 07/08/2009 - 07:18I will be on for Salmon, however if I do not get my FPS fixed by then I will need to step out. No need to hurt the raid. If anyone can help with my issue I would really appreciate it. I will try anything. And with the knowledge of the people in this guild I feel pretty good about getting the fix.
I usually run between 60-70 FPS - Last night I was between 4-8. Not sure what the issue was. After the raid I checked the following:
- Update on my Video driver and I am running the optimal driver and no new updates were available or needed.
- Changed my Video quality settings in game to a lesser quality. No change in FPS regardless on the setting.
- Rebooted router, modem, pc, and check all the cables.
- Made sure nothing was running in the background, and only had Vent and WOW running.
- Ran my scheduled maintenence 1 day early.
Help me please, I look forward to the Salmon raid each week with my limited play time with the new baby, I need this...

Darthon — Wed, 07/08/2009 - 07:28Actually I think I did have my work laptop open and connected at the time via the router. Although, I have a personal laptop that my son plays on connected to WOW and we never had these issues before. I will make sure that all pc's are off this evening.
