Custom Specs

I know that some of the people in this actually know their classes really well. I am bored and want to hear some of the things you have found out that increase your dps, heals, etc, just from knowing game mechanics or your class.
The other purpose for this is to help some other people in the guild (or apps) to better their performance.

Per the holy pally side
Elapsed — Thu, 07/01/2010 - 18:48I was one of the first holy (div sac) spec pallies on the server. Got it when my old guild was struggling on Mimiron and Xt hardmodes. But as of late the current models all curtail a pally into being a specific kind of healer. The one Mechanic I absolutely love is T10 2 piece. You can use Divine plea, Avenging Wrath, and Divine Plea all together to get 5% bonus healing, 25% mana regained, 50% spell cost. So you're regaining mana while still mashing your Holy Light and keeping your tanks alive. Also speced fully into Improved Lay On Hands combined with the LoH minor glyph gives you an 11 minute LoH and a 20% melee reduction CD to throw on a tank when their rotation isnt allowing another CD to help them live (I.E. Lich King hard mode)
I think I was the first holy
Ghli — Fri, 07/02/2010 - 15:30I think I was the first holy paladin in Downfall to acutally spec into Divine Sacrafice. Mostly it was because I got acutally upset about the illumination and divine intellect nerfs that came with 3.2. I finally convinced myself the day before 3.2 acutally got deployed that I would take this spec when 3.2 came out. Much to my suprised, and I didn't really expect 3.2 to acutally come out the next day, patch got deployed and I respeced. It took a good 3-4 months in ToC to get Garreth to unwillingly to change, but only 2 weeks for Dangley to willingly change.
Wow and here I was thinking
Internè — Fri, 07/02/2010 - 14:34Wow and here I was thinking holy apllies were easy lol.
Both my resto and enhance
Onrique — Thu, 07/01/2010 - 18:31Both my resto and enhance specs include instant ghost wolf. The utility for outdoor fights is amazing. The dps/healing loss is minimal.
