KITTEN BRIGADE

Lots to say here. Once upon a time Kitten Brigade was formed and was a top 5 raid on the server for a solid chunk of this expansion. Not only was it a highly capable raid, but it was a fun raid... a joy to be a part of. Fast forward to a couple months ago and due to a number of reasons, we were left without a large portion of not only our raid leadership, but our raiders.
I can't be much more proud of how far we've come since then and how we continue to improve on a nightly basis, and I thank you guys for that.
Now, I am going to say that our last raid was less than fun, and less than what we are capable of. Lets take a moment to go through the obvious: we started very late, people were already locked to a progression raid (for whatever reason), we couldn't keep all 25 of us online for most of the night and we took 10 minutes between pulls to get everyone back from feeding their grandmother's or cleaning a catbox.
You will notice that I did not include "not getting a boss dead" as part of that list of negative aspects on wednsday's raid. I am pleased with how we improved and adapted throughout the night. A dead boss is an obvious good thing, however we can't expect a challenge like that to fall for us on night 1.
I've given you all the pregnancy, here's the baby: attendance, preparedness, and alertness will become a larger focus beginning next week. I have deliberately made this post in the public forums so our applicants can read this as well.
At EXACTLY 6:31, invites for applicants will start. Your spot is NOT secure based on you gear, length of time with the raid or how funny you are over vent. Raid spots for those in raid on-time, or who have posted their availability status on the site (mostly lack of it for the evening), will be given priority. If you show up at 6:50 without a word on the site, your chances of getting into raid the following night are slim.
We are currently looking for 3 night a week raiders. I am not the only person who would love to see this raid at it's full potential. We need to get back to the basics of attendance, preparedness and alertness, if we want to go far. If you want your status as a regular raider to stand, simply be on-time, with flasks AND pots, and be ready to dedicate the portion of time you have in the raid, to the raid.
Please contact me in-game should there be any confusion with what I have just posted.
