Well as some of you heard yesterday. Efectivie immidateally i am no longer working at the auto repair shop. I showed up to work yesterday to be told that I failed to readd fluid to a rear differential back in Jan and that the company was haveing to pay 2000$ to replace it. As result they would be keeping my pay. Now as to the rear diff. I dont for 1 second beleave i put the plug back in without adding fluid. thats neither here nor there though. I spoke with the Texas Board of Labor and was told that if i didnt sign anything saying i would be responsiable for a mistake that causes the further repair of a vehicle then they could not hold any pay or commission from me. I signed nothing but tax forms when i was hired. After calling and speaking with work today they are going to cut me a check for my hourly but still plan to keep my commission. I hope its worth it to em. 300$ to me is worth fighting for. and I fight dirty. once i have my hourly check in hand this afternoon I will be calling the state inspection office to report illigal inspection atcivities. Then i will be calling the EPA to report illigal petrolium product disposal. Then i will be hireing an attorny to sue them. this will cost them way more than 300$ by the time its done. They shoulda just paid me.
