mALT
For those of you who are new to the guild in Wrath, let me introduce you to raid mALT. I formed mALT for the sole purpose of getting phat loots for those evil evil alts, and give us raiders a chance to do progression content (albeit behind) under a different role then the first time around.
All of a sudden melee raiders were healing, healers were killin stuff, and people really started to relate to other class roles. Raid : ALT developed into raid mALT when we began having quite a few of the raiding mains come along for sheer fun. We then decided for the good of the guild we would crusade to put a [28830] on every main raider who needed it before we put it on an alt. Mage tanking in Gruul's lair was probably one of the coolest things I ever got to do in wow...and it was on an alt. ;)
We're now using mAlt as a tryout platform for new applicants as well. Every mAlt run will open up at least 3 slots for guild applicants (first to sign up, gets first dibs on one of the 3 slots), if we have room, we'll take more. We will parse these events to take a look at your raid performance. This is you Downfall tryout raid.
Many of you have run with us and know that we have very few rules, but we do have some...and here they are:
1. Be geared enough for the content. Don't come in all greens and blues guys...hit the heroics first, put some meat in your gear. If we need to fill raid, and greens & blues are the only option that's fine, but we will fill first with those with the gear to support their weight. We may be alts, but we don't like repair bills.
2. Know your strats. I will do some strat before bosses, as people do things different in other raids, but we will be doing things MY way when we run. I understand people have different ways of doing things (gauntlet WTF Ryan?????) I promise I know what I'm doing.
3. Sign up and be on time. When events are scheduled, I run a confirmed list up until the day of the raid. Raid will be filled first on Class balance, then sign ups. Raid times will be determined on a raid by raid basis.
4. You want it, you roll for it. I'll probably run master looter and we'll roll off for the first few weeks, but basically everything is a free for all. We don't care what spec you are now or were yesterday, if your a main or an alt. Simple and easy, drama free.
5. HAVE FUN. I stop doing these the minute it stops being fun. No QQs cause you didn't get in this week, no QQs over loot, and make sure to check the bad attitude at the instance door.

Hi all, I'm back from the depths but not to ret things up in WoW unfortunately. I'm looking for fellow guildies to practice against in 1v1 matches in starcraft 2. WHile the ladder is a good place to practice some things, there are always new ideas or builds I'd like to try which don't always work well testing them on the ladder itself.
If you're interested PM me for my realID or add my character code Dragonspear.929 and add yours at the bottom. We can also use this thread to setup times to practice.
And for those interested I am participating in the GeForce Pro/Am Tournament going on with HuskyStarcraft and Day9 atm.

I spent quite some time picking a good time, and there's not a lot of wiggle room on the raid schedule so we'll start invites at 12:30 server time on Sundays...I'd like to be pulling Beasts at 1:00.
