ive rolled a prot warr to lvl in my downtime of lvling my professions on my druid (cant stand to fish but so long). is there any advice u can point me to i plan on going down the prot tree and as far as lvling im already going down the prot tree because im sword and board all the way, cant deal with 2 handers. ty for any help or advice u may have.

         So, I have been waiting for all of these "grand" changes to the warrior talent tress.  So far I have only been impressed with Fury, I find arms to be a lawl tree and, while I am sure they mean well, have done little to fix its many problems.  Protection was on a good road, but then they felt threatened by removal of the Blessing of Salvation (by their own whims) they are too busy trying increase damage and threat, thatour rage mechanic will suffer the SAME ridiculous problems it faced in the first expansion.

         This is just a rant, I may try to fix it up and place it in a less trolled aspect of the forums.

ARMS

It was originally a pvp tree with some 2 hander emphasis.  I fear Blizzard has no idea what they want to have in this tree.  I still think rend is useless and nany attempt to give us a useful bleed buff effect in tier one has been rejected I believe 5 times.

For what the second tier is worth, I feel it is alright, I find it odd that it lacks any form of dps buff and it is for grinding and tanking.

 Tier 3 is fine.  I still think overpower and rend synergy needs work. 

One of the most sorry switches was the removal of stalwart defender (Rage gained from parry and blocks) and the addition in the arms try of Justified killing.  Come now, how many times do you parry in arenas or pvp, furthermore, in a PVE setting, you will be killed if you tank (unless you are Gares).  I find a tanking rage buff in arms to be ridiculous.

Tier 5 is fine.  Mace with armor reduction defeated its use in pvp.  I find that to be counter intuitive, but the change may be useful for the pvp gear wearers you fight.

 Thats the armory link to my warrior. I would love to be ableto get him geared out enough to be that last tank our kara groups are always looking for. there are only two major problems.

    1. Gear-I have no clue where to get the next few pieces i need to get my 490 and some extra stam along the way. There is also another major issue because even if I knew whrere to get the gear...

   2. I SUCK at tanking. but its something i want to get better at. The account i use became mine when my friend died, and the warrior was already level 60 on so i didnt level it, and thus had no real experience

So the point of this blog is to get some help and advice from the better prot warriors in DF. As well as the many think tanks we have up in hur' to help me out. gimmie any advice on macros, anything really at all. i can tank one mob no prob, even two mobs. but im sure if i was to get into kara i would get lost and wipe everyone. so any advice would be much appriciated.

I'm going to be hosting some Tempest Keep instances Friday night, and I'm going to bring Freakelf with me to tank it up. I can bring Heals on Feudara if no other healer volunteers, so all I really need is a couple DPS/CC to sign up, and we should be good to go.

I'm going to try and get a Heroic Botanica, and possibly a Heroic Mech after that. This is a great opportunity to see a new guild app in action, and form your own views on it. You won't want to miss it.
